About Stef
I am a native English speaker, born in Cyprus and educated in the French school system. Greek is the language of home, French the language of school, English the language I grew up in — and Russian the language I now live and study in, in Moscow.
That is why my lessons do not feel like a course. I teach the way languages are actually used: in conversation, in play with young children, in real situations with teenagers and adults — and I can always explain in Russian when it helps.
Today I live in Moscow, where I study Physical Education at Moscow City University (MGPU). It keeps me around young people every day — which is exactly where my teaching comes from.

Native English
British-Cypriot background.
English is my first language — the one I grew up speaking, not one I studied.
Why Stef
Students don't study English from a textbook. They spend the hour with someone who grew up in it.
English is native, Greek comes from my Cypriot family, French from ten years of French schooling, and Russian from living and studying in Moscow.
A five-year-old should not get the same lesson as a thirty-year-old professional.

Educational partner in Cyprus
Academia Gnosis is one of my educational partners in Cyprus. If your family is on the island and you would like your child to continue their language education in a structured school setting — with a full teaching team, exams and a proper programme — I recommend them without hesitation.
